Keep in mind that modern solutions have modern problems in mind; advanced war tactics have no prior plans or counters against people using antiquated techniques.

Originially Hanzo and Ganji were suppose to be one character using a katana in melee and a bow for ranged attacks but it proved to be too OP so they split them into two.
