Yeah, it's called playing GunZ without a Katana or Double Shotguns. That wasn't skill. DBFing and stunlocking people wasn't hard, you didn't have to aim. Meanwhile you just spam shotguns in someone's general direction and get lucky.
No what was really skill was waltzing in with a Dagger, Dual SMGs and a Rocket Launcher and the second the duel starts and the K-styler makes their way up the first piller, you lob a rocket. When they dash away you hose them down with SMGs and they go to the second piller only to meet another rocket. Then they vote kick you because the have no answer to that.
That island map was the best stage.

Yeah, you're a fucking moron. There's no good TPS out right now with any kind of movement system. GunZ 2 is literally the only one and it's been dead for 2 years now because Maiet went under. Glitches don't make the game. GunZ 2 died from a shit shop and removing all the fun customization GunZ 1 had with the weight system and loadouts.

Even if the execution was as hard as you like to pretend it is, you're still just peeking out of corners with SS or HS or a wallclimb and shooting, or RSing all of your ammo away since there's almost nothing that can do damage faster than RSing 2 shotguns at close range. Literally no different from CS where you peek out of corners constantly and spray when you get in a close range situation. Occasionally you might end up fighting with your sword, and that's more complex than using the knife in CoD, but extremely less complex than playing a fighting game. Do you think making what's a basic action in any other shooter a little difficult to do is good design? You're playing a poor mans' CS just because it has a tiny execution barrier that makes it seem a bit more deep. The only real depth that GunZ adds to the formula is in the wall climb, allowing you to peek out and shoot at any height you want along whatever you're hiding behind, which is really good if you're hiding behind a tall wall. It's still a baby game in comparison to Q3A.

You'd be surprised. When shotguns got boring, I moved to quad revolvers or rocket launchers for a challenge in 1v1 mode. They did shit damage, but most people were so pattern-stuck that they'd end up eating most of them. Was still hard as shit to get kills before you ran out of ammo though.

I played pretty early and stopped long before a lot of shit got added, so maybe people got better eventually, but most of the time rockets were fucking hilarious. Especially on that tiny ass shower 1v1 map.
