Hm. It's kind of hard for me to say. I think I slightly prefer the Polish voice acting overall. Geralt in English is nice, but he's a bit stiff in his range. Geralt in Polish has a much wider range. Sarcasm especially shines through in his voice acting a lot better.
There are some other characters I enjoyed in Polish more too, like O'Dimm, who sounds positively more maniacal in Polish. I'm not too fond of Triss's english voice either as well. Then again I prefer some english voice actors, like Dandelion.

You should give them a try at least. TW1 can be a real bitch at first, frustrating, slow and dull, but the story really picks up and and it has some of the most beautiful moments and best side quests of the entire series.

I'm re-reading them as we speak, I have quite literally a copy of Time of Contempt in my hands. It's a bit odd to read them now, after I had spent the most of the last ten years reading on what is generally considered "classic" or "fine" literature.
And yet, they are not bad. The story and world building is shit, but that is hardly all that matters in literature. The characters are fun, and the wordplay and language is fantastic, and there is a sort of gleeful charm to all of it.
I genuinely think that Sapkowski has all that it takes to be a great, classical writer, and he is held back pretty much only by his lack of restraint and patience and by the fact that he is a coward who eventually hides and excuses his potential failings by genre excuse.
