Honestly I haven't played a lot of games with plot twists since 2000. I think the only game that kind of shocked me was when all the promotional material for Bloodborne made it seem like hunting werewolves in a victorian setting when it was really hunting ayylmaos in fucking dreamworld.
The twist for Bravely Default's true ending was pretty nuts, regardless of its quality I did NOT see that coming.
