Laurance fucking sucks and feels like a DS2 boss
The giant bosses in this game are generally shit cuz they make the camera go haywire
the most enjoyable bosses are the ones that are similar to your own character that you fight mano a mano, like Gascoigne, Gehrman, Logarius, etc

I found the camera to be really good in the giant fights, only exception is maybe the electric dude
