I'd say no since there is zero modability in Overwatch, so they wont be able to make custom sprays, maps, or character models.
No modding, no custom sprays or avatars, no clear furbait/ponybait characters and no server browser with custom servers means that this won't happen at all.

There's no private servers, so the most they can do is create private matches that no one else can see or join.
As such, there's really no "plague" possible.
