Hideo and Kojima are clones of John Carpenter (with Japanese genes added for no reason.) Hideo thought he had the inferior genes and wanted Kojima killed but failed and died somewhere in 2005.
Turns out it was Kojima who had the inferior genes which is why, without his superior brother, MGS4 and all that followed were utter crap.
