Harmoknight was charming as fuck. And with half the pokemon work coming from The Pokemon Company, gamefreak is freed up for more creative ventures.

The animated sprites in the 5th gen pokemon games were really nice, I feel like moving to full 3D models is only a step down.

I just hope they keep the models and animations as a baseline and keep adding onto them with more animations and quirks.

Pretty much this. I think they can recover from it though.
They're pretty solid, all of their games besides pokemon have been pretty good. I really enjoyed Tembo.

bunch of lazy devs that refuse to innovate...even though that was nintendo's whole gimmick for the longest time. God forbid they do a pokemon snap 2 even though they have the controller peripheral already made for them.
They got really lucky and hit the sweet spot with Pokemon.
I just wish the art team wouldn't get so retarded at time with the design.
