Used to get off from work, alone and hating life, and let the hours melt away at the arcade. I was there so often I was recognized as "The Suit," for how often I'd come in all dressed up after work. I sucked shit at everything but Vampire Savior. My Q-Bee? Untouchable.
Despite how busy it seemed, it eventually closed. Terrible business model, really. Teenagers and gamers in general are broke as fuck. You can keep afloat after leasing expensive japanese dance machines.
I miss that place. A moment in time, gone, like tears in the rain.

Check out Gemini arcade if that's still around, small place thats focused on fightan and rhythm if you're into that, there was a really fucking nice arcade down on Rainbow just south of Hacienda that was next to the high school there that was pretty large and had motherfucking Virtual On but that closed and became some shitty all ages venue.
