You know what kind of games those Sega ports are on Steam? I'll give you a hint; they aren't current releases. At best, PC will be getting Unleashed or 06, while consoles enjoy the latest and greatest Sega games.

Open world with map markers everwhere snf nothingness in between. A shitty FarCry-esque levelling system. Kill-cam everything. A stamina bar. And everytime you die, you have to get back to where you died to collect your rings, or lose them forever.

All they need to do is make sprawlinglinearlevels and let you run fast through them with occasional slowing down to platform or kill some robots or some shit. I think heroes and unleashed had the most fun level design of any sonic because you always knew were you going and it could be done fast, especially unleashed which is the fastest sonic yet. Did anyone else actually like sonic 4 a bit? Like yeah theyre nothing like the originals. But theyre kind of like an HD sonic rush. They werent amazing or anything, but Id say 4:1 was a 6/10 and 4:2 was a 7/10. Surprised at how much i enjoyed episode 2 and how much of an improvement it was . shame ep3 never happened. Wouldve been cool to link all of them together and play from splash hill to whatever the last level of ep3 was.

Yeah no. Sorry, it really wasn't. It was like a watered down version of the Genesis games, trying to be original and new. Modernized with 3D graphics and paperized, colorful, fake environments that steal far too much from the genesis games while at the same time ruining them;
Not to mention a complete and utter FAILED attempt to try and recreate the gameplay of the Genesis games, without first realizing the level layouts do not work by any stretch in this format, and especially not with the horrible, extremely infamous physics that that game had.

Ep1 was shitty Sonic 1 , Ep 2 was just shitty Sonic 2 , but more enjoyable than Ep1
