Exactly. The sneks in 2 are annoying, but I haven't had an anyeurism fighting them yet. Having soldiers mind controlled on mission one got me pretty close though.

I agree. I was actually 100% bewildered when I first fought one. Clones, teleports, can empty main weapons of your whole squad in one move if your careless, clones get all the main ones abilities, and it has a fuck ton of health and evasion, Then I learned flash grenades disable abilities

Just ignore the mission or reload a save to roll a different council mission. I first got the mission late game and went into it with four hover shivs and 2 snipers. Let me tell you, sentience reaction module makes shivs a powerhouse in close quarters combat.
