So what ever happened to Deep Down? Wasn't it suppose to be the spiritual successor to Dragons Dogma, or is DD2 still possible?
Not for a long time m8. Neither are coming out any time soon, so it's best to keep your expectations low.
Never had anything to do with Dragon's Dogma, that was all speculation. Seems to be on hiatus for now, but I'm not sure what the director is working on so it's possible that it's still in active development.

Had my eye on it since 2013, it was going to be free to play. Rumor's are they scrapped ftp and want to make it a fully fledged 60€/$ game, with a story and expanded multiplayer. Hence the huge gap since being announced. Also the developers have said to press its not canceled. Keep hope, its been 3 years since they showed at e3, maybe they'll be back this year?
