It's not even that good of an RPG.
It's a pretty great action game with RPG elements, but the C&C is more CYOA than RPG. You really never get a lot of stat checks outside of Axii dialogues, so it's not a matter of what you can do but what you choose to do.

Bear and the early Wolf ones look good but the rest suck if you ask me. It's mainly the colours the irk me. The blue cat armor is the worst. They just lack texture and roughness and that sort of lived in feel that the W2 jackets have.

Do you think Final Fantasy XV will live up to the standards set by The Witcher 3? The Witcher 3 is pretty much the pinnacle of RPG quality, whether it's the icredible OST (goat imo), the vast beautiful world, the attention to detail, the amount of content, the fantastic characters, the deep story, the lore and mythology, the sidequests etc. I feel like The Witcher 3 truly excelled in everything that makes an RPG great and then some (except maybe combat but it more than makes up for that).

The skill trees are laughably simple and inconsequential, with 80% of the skills being completely useless and lacking any sort of build deviation. You will undoubtedly focus on physical attack skills because they are the only ones to provide any notable benefit. Progression is artificial, numbers on enemy health and your own damage simply grow parallel to each other.
Literally all it has going for it is the "meaningful decisions", but outside of a few quests like Bloody Baron, they're nonexistent.
Combat is also garbage and can be won through spamming fast attacks even on the highest difficulty, with no incentive to vary.
But no, it has pwetty gwaphics and a million fucking recycled "quests" which play out like every single assassin's creed game and you retards lap it up.
The story's good but you might as well just read the fucking books considering that the defining feature of a video game, the gameplay, is trash. It's the definition of a walking simulator.

Thats ridiculous, I was just doing a fight a few minutes ago where if you spam fast attacks you will just be killed in two instantaneous hits. So to win you have to time it with the monster's pattern, like good combat systems tend to do.

I want to like the Witcher 3, but after 5 hours I can't enjoy it anymore.
The graphics are top,
the soundtrack is top,
I really like the main characters,
I want to see what will happen,
but I don't know why I can't motivate me to play it anymore.
Should I just rush the main story, or are there side stories, which are as good as, or even better than the main story?
Is the game pirateable? it is an honest question, W2 was okay-ish but not my thing and I don't want to spend the money here unless I try it and really like it. it looks amazing, for sure.
