It's not but it was still a really fun game.
They did such a fucking incredible job porting Dante and Vergil's DMC3 moveset into the game to the point where it almost feels like playing DMC3 when you use them.
If you use simple mode online I am going to destroy you and teabag at every possible moment

ToDs that lead to ridiculous incoming mix-ups/unblockables that lead to ToDs are absurd, and it has one of the most needlessly potent comeback mechanics that I can think of.
