I really want to say the aesthetic of the game isn't appealing enough. That and the unlock system that's scary for newcomers.
The core game is fantastic but without the polish and shine you see in Overwatch for example, casuals wont stick around.

I really loved this game but I guess the cheating in the early stages of the game killed it.
