A lot of those just hate humans for no real reason. They're designed to be the big scary terminator-like AI, when in reality I think an AI would be more unbiased. I think Helios and GW are two of the more "realistic" ones (in theory), as in they don't hate humans purely for the sake of it, they have their own goals which the player may or may not agree with.
