The game was already delayed about 5 times. I think they just wanted to release it as soon as the core components were done.
It is a shame that there's no arena coop, which you'd think would be easy to make. But on the plus side everything that is there is good and balanced, much moreso than the shitshow that was Uncharted 3's multiplayer at launch. Kal-7 with Blindfire Accuracy mod, never again.

Remember liking the first one back in the day. And the sequels mostly. Playing the Drake Collection now though and can't get into it at all. It's fucking awful. Climbing, jumping and shooting feel shit. And that's what it is along with some pretty frequent QTEs.

There are two maps with large amounts of water (one of which is the best map in the game), one map that is always at night and I think the weather changes as matches progress in a few others. I know the Pirate Bay map turns from sunny to a thunderstorm as the game goes on.

the retards that try to revive somebody out in the open deserve it. In general combat it's really hard to pull off headshots and if you hit somebody at distance they just instantly bolt into cover. The slow rate of fire makes it useless at close quarters as well.
It's best use is as a support weapon, taking down people who are already damaged or engaging in melee with a friendly.

It feels like the best all-rounder, but a good player with the Semi-Auto gun (forget it's name) or a sniper would be able to outclass it.
I usually use AK with reload speed mod (havnt unlocked Recoil yet) and occasionally switch to something else if I'm in the mood for a change or going for MLG-rope-swing-sniper-Headshots.
Shotgun never seems to get used though.

You can unlock the mods by using the weapons/mysticals. Goes rather quickly. There are also only like 1 or 2 mods that are actually useful. Hero weapons take longer to unlock and have 2 predetermined mods instead of 1 you can choose freely. Drake's AK gives you blindfire accuracy and reload speed for example. Mods and hero weapons also cost points so it's up to you if you want to spend 10 points on a hero weapon instead of other gear.
I've never actually used boosters so far.
