ITT: Bullshit Endings
Rant about games that cause you to ultimately fail by design.
Here, I'll start.

Captain Titus is one of my favorite 40K characters and I love me some 40K.
All the same, he did get caught in an explosion of psychic energy that literally no one could survive and then personally killed a Daemon while falling from a mile in the air. The odds of him being alive are practically none, even for a Space Marine Captain, which is saying a lot cause Captains are the badasses of the entire Galaxy.
The sequels would have been fucking baller had THQ survived, him evading the Inquisition and then forming his own Chapter.

I kinda agree with the ending, but it is inline with 40K canon. He would have been tried for heresy, not necessarily found guilty though.

Sega owns the video game rights to the Warhammer 40,000 series, so you never know. There could be sequels.
I was so angry at the final boss fight being a shitty QTE that I don't even remember what the ending was about.
As I pressed the buttons that the game asked me to press I hoped that the Chaos Lord would turn into a full demon, land on some arena and then the real fight would begin. But nope, fuck fun.

None of these things happend.
A million orks are no threat, least of all a forge world; it was chaos that was the real threat, an inquisitor does not arrest, ever, because arresting is for law enforcement; and finally, SMs are above the law and any reproach from the inquisition, he was forced into custody to save the survivors, but in essence went freely, and he won´t be tried for heresy since that would require a shitload of inquisitors, a conclave and involvement with the ultramarines as a whole, none of which a single inquisitor would want if he can just study him.

so max, after the girl and the kid are killed by scrotus, goes for revenge, in the final moment of the game max goes full retard, changes from the reluctant hero he is in the movies, murders chumbucket and destroys the magnum opus in THE most retarded attempt to push scrotus car over the edge of a cliff, he could have baby pushed that bitch over, and the best part?
it does not kill scrotus, scrotus comes hauling ass out the back in the black on black, so you basically murder chum and destroy the car without knowing the black on black was in there,
max has always been the reluctant hero, even in the movies sparing masterblaster, it makes no sense for him to senselessly kill chum, someone that has generally been on his side through the whole game, and destroy the car he desperately needs.

A Space Marine is pretty valuable. Still, it is the Chaplain's duty to find and root out heresy. The Chapter deals with such matters internally, unless the corruption is too great.

He was obviously untainted by chaos, but they had to follow procedure anyway.

I didn't find any part exceptionally great. The entirety of the game was mediocre.
It was entertaining, to say the least, but i feel sorry for those who paid full price for it.
