Yes. Trove nets some pretty decent profits for a company. Their "next big" is Atlas Reactor, a Turn-based multiplayer arena shooter, where everyone takes their turns simultaneously.
It's an utter clusterfuck cause you don't even know what your allies are going to do until the last few seconds, so you can't coordinate with randoms and thus it's a total nightmare if you get split or stuck together, cause

I had all the dungeon sets / Hasla weapons / crafted weapons. I even hunted that famous Korean guy that stacked like 20 buffs for arena that moved to Dallas, then met up with him at a Whataburger for more lulz.
Shit was cray-cray.
I quit the game because at the time I had found a thunderstruck tree (the rarest item in the game at one time.) People offered me $700 for it. Their entire mansions / land plots, and tons of in-game gold. I declined it all, looking to trade it for raid gear / raid spots in high-end guilds. (Kind of a sperg / autist so no social skills.)
Then patch day came, making a real money transaction 33% possible to grow your own thunderstruck trees. Such fucking bullshit.
I eventually found a guild(s) but kept getting kicked for all the serial killing. People got SO BUTTHURT over having their carts stolen, it was hilarious.
I eventually settled on using spears since they had like a 10% chance to literally make defense zero, and with the right stunlock build if you catch people off guard who are tending crops or sitting around farm areas you can 100% -> 0% someone who has full delphinad with a shitty of a set as GHA before the stun wears off.

I stopped playing archeage like a month after launch when they still didn't have 75% of the game unlocked for no real reason at all other than to suck money out of everyone fighting over every available space in town to farm shit.

Religion of any kind is also interesting when Atheists aren't being preachy bitches, or christians being the same. I want to add on more crazy shit, like glitching above the map to the barely forbidden super high up areas, planting a MASSIVE FUCKING SUPERFARM, then waiting for it to be harvested. Literally 500g investment became 20k over a few days.
I spent four accounts and 40k labor (labor pots, bro) completely filling up the entireity of the pirate island. All of it. Full of orange trees. Pirate bros would never have scurvy again.
Word had spread and the entire server converged on the pirate lands. There was blood everywhere.
I was technically "banished" from the pirate guilds since my orange actions had caused too much fuckin' trouble and fucked a lot of relations up. The top pirate guilds were playing more like a goblin faction than anything, being businessmen instead of murderers and psychopaths.
Anyone remember the glitch where you log into a new account, run into the starter house areas, sleep on the bed that restored like 500 lp? It took just a few minutes each time. All you had to do was delete your character and remake it, and your account kept the lp. You could get 5k lp and go mass farm. I leveled a character 1-50 from just mass tree chopping alone in under a day with this method. Shit was so sick.
Using carts / cars to push afk's away from the prayer stone and then killing them over and over was great, too.

It was free materials. Basically you harvest the oranges then chop the tree for wood. Because it's on the pirate lands anyone could harvest it. Since there was so much everyone brought everyone they knew to spend all their labor points to take as much as possible.
Planting trees isn't free, as it costs materials + labor points, which you can only get if you spend tons of gold on potions or wait in real life hours for it to regenerate. (So 1 hour = 10 labor = 1 tree. Harvesting at max level costs 4 + 4.)
While oranges and wood aren't worth much, it's basically free. Not everyone owned land to safely plant their own shit.
The pirate island is super isolated from the rest of the game. Pirate NPC's attack anyone who get in their patrol path, and pirates themselves generally gank non-pirates on their lands. So people brought backup in case someone ganked them while harvesting.

You think that's bad? I intended to start playing with some girl I was crushing on, but my buddies convinced me to roll on the opposing side. Had fun for a while and then I realized I was the only one of my buddies to reach max level, the others had barely gotten past 30. Started chatting with said chick for a while and she was in a godlike guild and they were wrecking and she was 50 on the other faction. So of course I suck back my pride and relevel on her faction because none of my friends are playing anymore. Manage to get to 50 on the other faction and have fun for a few weeks, but then the fucking P2W jew struck again and hackers were running rampant with Trion doing nothing but throwing rolled up gauze at the problem for months.
Not to mention I managed to snag some primo land on my first character and by the time I went to switch it over to my new character the insta-claim bots had been created and so my own land got sniped from me. The worst part is outside of the cash shop, miserable class balance, and hackers the game was pretty fucking great. Ship battles were awesome, fishing was dope, large scale trade influenced PvP was exciting, and low scale team based trading from continent to continent was exhilarating. Unfortunately of the 120+ classes available to play only like 4 were viable depending on what you wanted to do and hackers were duping the best gear in the game within weeks making legit players suffer like hell.

You had peaceful zones, where you couldn't pvp at all. Low level zones like 1-20 or so. If someone had recently PvP'd or was a criminal you could attack them though. Or if they were straight enemy faction.
PvP zones and the open seas you could attack anyone. If someone came across the blood you spilled they could report it as a crime.
After 3000 crime points you're banished to the pirate (third) faction of the game.

You could rob people of their trade packs by killing them and it'd drop. Then dismantle and take the materials or try to run it yourself.
You could kill their mounts, so it wasn't like in WoW where you just mount up and run away.

You COULD report crimes in the middle of the ocean but it's so fast and blood washes away quickly.
If you had proper swim gear and used a max level donkey you could swim as fast as a top tier fishing boat, and literally swim up on people and murder entire fishing (read: casual grill gamer trash) boats. Like 10+ people all casually fishing, and you just roll up on 'em, kill 'em all, jack their fish. Jack their boat, too. Drive it to harbor, turn their fish in, and then summon your own boat and sink their ship.

Laying in wait along shortcuts through war zones for people ferrying trade packs was usually much more effective, but the best way to do it was to do it as a group, or get a guild boat with cargo bays and sail to your destination
Trade packs were universal, anyone could hand them in, which made for some hilarious stories
