There's been a couple of streams of uninterrupted gameplay and it looks bad.
I WANT to like it, it's got the seeds of so many good things

But the melee looks shallow as fuck, like WAY too repetitive and mashy to be a Kamiya-made game. I'd be willing to give Plat the benefit of the doubt and just assume that the melee combat was actually amazing, but even if it WAS
the game STILL looks like "Let Thuban Do It: The Interactive Experince". Like, if every one of Drew's mechanics was literally perfect, I'd still hate the game for not giving me the option to make the dragon fly away at the start of every fight. I don't want to watch the brilliant and OP as fuck AI do the heavy lifting while I scurry around the field leaving what essentially amount to air strike markers, and I ALSO don't want to play a neverending escort mission trying to protect this fucking dragon if I make his build anti-offense since we share an HP meter.
The dragon ruins the game for me, and the game is about the goddamn dragon so there's no way around it.
Which is a shame because it OUGHT to be amazing.
