I went to a con with a friend and hated it. People were way too high energy and obnoxious, only people playing MTG were chill and not spazes. Fighting tournie people were hands down the worst and several actual fights broke out during the course of the tournie.

Been to a couple. Was at Youmacon last year, and spent the days inside of the gaming room playing Black Ops 2. Didn't really see anything good in terms of cosplay at there.
I also went to Midwest Media Expo earlier this year, which was even more boring with the most exciting thing being people inside of the mall down the road from the hotel wondering why everyone is dressed up.
I plan on going to Youmacon again this year, for another trip to the gaming room, if I can't find something else decent to do.

I wasn't in any tournaments, I don't see myself doing anything fancy like that. I was just relaxing and playing some casually hype LAN Black Ops 2. The game still somehow lagged to shit when too many consoles were in LAN, but otherwise it was pretty fun.
