Making games "more accessible" to people that can't play them correctly makes everyone else have a shittier experience. It sucks these people can't do it, but guess what? They can't do a lot of fucking shit that would suffer if made "more accessible" to them as well. Have you ever been to a movie where a deaf person has "requested" full subtitles? It's the worst fucking thing for normal people. Just bright yellow text pops up everywhere on screen with "BIRDS FLAPPING" and "DRAMATIC MUSIC" over characters faces.
In video games this shit comes in as basically playing the game for you. You don't need environmental awareness because the game points enemies out for you. You don't have to be skilled at aiming, because the game aims for you. You don't need to be skilled manipulating the character because the game now does it for you. You no longer have to press the right buttons at the right time to fight characters because you can just hold down attack.
Worrying about whether or not a disabled person can play your game and building gameplay around that means they are going to make a much more simplified game. At what point do you say "ok, well, this person is way too fucking disabled to play our game. He has no legs, no arms, and he's deaf and near blind. I know, let's make our game just vibrate a whole lot and flash bright colors so EVERYONE CAN ENJOY IT."

be honest I liked the shooting and I felt that for the first time it was genuinely great, but there just wasn't enough of it. Uncharted 2 was a bit of a guilty pleasure for me and even though pretty much all the combat mechanics are better in Uncharted 4 it just doesn't play as well. Every time you kill a bunch of enemies you have another 10 minute traversal section so theres no sense of pushing through against the odds or that shoreline even give a fuck about killing you.
Besides that the main reason I got the game was to play co-op later on, I really loved the coop in U2 and U3, the horde mode in U3 was one of the best I've seen in a game too.

It's a good business move because these options can expand your customer base and look good in the media.

I'm an assburger and I agree with you. I never should've been born. I can't function socially at all, I'm smart and self-aware enough to realise just how pathetic I am but it doesn't help me at all because the second another person talks to me or looks at me my brain shuts down and I act like a fucking retard.
What makes things worse is that despite being a helpless retard I was able to earn the qualifications to work in IT at home but I can't even use them in the real world because I sperg out in interviews, and the one time I did get hired I wasn't able to interact with my boss or other employees properly and ultimately ended up abruptly quitting after having a huge panic attack from the stress; which I didn't even want to do but it was already too late by the time I came to my senses.
I was literally born without any of the basic natural knowledge that humans have, I wasn't able to talk properly up until I was five when I started receiving speech therapy, and I struggle to do physical activities that aren't really basic because I don't even have a clear understanding of how to move my body. Why people justify the existance of someone like me, someone that will never live a satisfying life, and will never know how it feels to have friends, a lover, or children, is beyond me. I think it's fucking disgusting that selfish do-gooder types would rather have me suffer a miserable meaningless existence than make the small sacrifice necessary to end these defects.
