Clearly you haven't tried it on a pyro build. It attacks faster than an ultra great sword yet does the same amount of damage for less stamina AND it can't be parried.

No backstabs. No parries. Not all that fast with no hyper armor to speak of.
I'll stick with a chaos infused straight sword.
