OP is right, while we're at it lets just get rid of gameplay all together its an outdated concept that only people with autism will cling to. The quicker we get rid of gameplay the better video games will become.

I missed out on that era, would have loved to play them more when i was younger. All i remember was some medieval kinda game which was pretty hard, or i just sucked.
Last one i remember playing was the Scott Pilgrim game, played it so much i was on the top 20 on leaderboards.
