Poverty ghosts: what kind of fan do you use to keep cool while playing vidya in the summer months?
the one in the AC system
>>338165135
Easy there, moneybags.
The fucking AC.
>>338165372
bullshit that's like 1000$ for one of those
I bought a $120 window AC. My window is right next to my desk, so I sometimes I even get cold in the summer :^)
>>338164890
I used to have a fan, guy I lived with a couple of years ago broke it when he was drunk. Never bought me another one, he won't speak to me because when we where moving out of the house we lived in, I took his £100 headphones because he refused to buy me a new fan. serves him right for breaking people's shit
>>338164890
>Poverty
>Fan
Good joke
>>338165914

>>338164890
You see, I live in Norway. There are no such things as summers here, only warmer winters.
An ice cube in the pooper is the best poverty gamer cooling method.
>>338167026
Australian winters don't count
>>338167265
>$70 a month
Jesus man. I have a 1300 sq ft house and my electricity bill goes up $20 with AC constantly on.
>>338166360
>guy I lived with a couple of years ago broke it when he was drunk
Isnt alcohol banned under sharia law?
>>338167026

>>338167845
>>338167265
>tfw AC are heavily taxed in the UK because of muh carbon footprint
>>338164890
My fan doesn't look that fancy.
>>338167854
You might be joking but a cold water enema gets you cool and fresh for at least 14 hours, I was in Iraq for 2 years and that was the cheapest and fastest way to comfiness
>>338168123
lel Illuminati gonna get ya
This thing right here. It works fine, but I don't have a great place to put it. It's either too high or too low.
>>338168304
I have one of those! they are amazing, quite cheap and make almost no noise
>>338164890
I don't need any, i live in Finland.
>tfw British

Like it's not gonna get anyone living elsewhere.
More importantly, how are you supposed to keep your face cool while playing your waifu sims? It's like the Vive's heat vent is the fucking lenses themselves
>>338168440
Dude, it's 20c here near Lahti. I'm dying.
>>338168551

You settled for second best after looking at Dyson's prices too, didn't you?

>>338168105
>That no pickle-pee, that no pump-a-rum.
>>338168595
>More importantly, how are you supposed to keep your face cool while playing your waifu sims?
Do you like in some 3rd world shithole where AC is not aviable? Just set your AC to 18°C and you will not have any troublen from sweaty head
are window ac worth it? I could spend $100 but im scared that the electricity cost is too high to run it.
Vornado master race
>>338168614
take off that winter coat, I'm perfectly fine with the temperature, lisää kaljaa.
>>338169015
They're really loud, so keep that in mind. And obviously they only cool one room, and that room needs to be small-medium sized.
>>338168760
>I can't imagine how the the poor hispanicucks living where it's even hotter manage to survive
mexishits are subhuman, that's how they can survive in conditions that are not able to sustain life. I wouldnt be surprised if they start eating the wall to survive once Trump builds it
I think I will shut down my desktop turned 24/7 local server. It's going to be high 80s for the rest of the week, that's 30C for you yuros. Also high humidity and rain so no windows are getting opened.
>>338169015
literally nothing
>>338168760
They're used to it. Also they all take naps during the hottest parts of the day
I have a high velocity fan.
It's not exactly quiet but it blows damn hard.
A high velocity fan is pretty much your best cheap option before just saying fuck it and going to the far more expensive a/c unit.
>>338168614
>blonde blue eyed finn
>not swede
c'mon even /v/ knows you are all swarthy mongoloids.
>>338168996
I have my AC blasting 24/7 to keep it around 20 now that it's getting warmer even though it's only reaching ~32 outside (it'll be far hotter once summer really kicks off) , but even if I make it so cold that I start to shiver the headset still fucking collects sweat while using it
>>338169132
>>338169210
yeah but that's like, heat death temps. Even cockroaches burn if you put them in an oven
>>338169015
They're loud and if you have it running all the time it will cost you. I would just use it to cool off my whole room and then use a regular fan to keep things cool.
>>338169392
Handsome swarthy mongoloids.
>>338169392
at least we're not like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pw3e64sosEg
>>338169203
>>338169015
>>338169416
I have a similar model and really the biggest problem is the noise. But outside of that it's the best purchase you can possibly make if you can spare the $100 for it, it won't rape your energy bill unless you have it cooling you to literal-refridgerator temps around the clock
>>338169132
central beaner land here, 20-25 °C all year is pretty comfy for gaming.
>tfw live up north so it never gets blistering hot
feels good
In North Florida (or Lower Alabama as some call it) it's +32C just about everyday in the summer. With 100% humidity to boot. I use windows and my ceiling fan. A/C usually does the job tho.
