Well Benzies has had a hand in every Rockstar game since GTA III, and was accepted as the driving force behind them. Apparently the Housers are absolutely shite at actually developing games and making them work. For instance, one of the Housers begged Benzies to fly from Edinburgh to San Diego to fix the mess that was Red Dead Redemption.
The controversy started when the credits for writing GTA V listed Benzies first. The Housers thought this meant Benzies was trying to overtake production or some shit. So they put him on sabbatical. When Benzies came back to work after a few months, his keycard to the building wouldn't work. The security guard let him in, but the floor manager asked Benzies to leave because he wasn't welcome anymore.
So now Benzies is suing Rockstar for unfair dismissal.
