Give it a couple years or so, all those exclusive titles will be sitting on some hard drive just waiting to be booted into an emulator. I have a 6 year old, decent tier laptop that handles PSP emulation perfectly, so even if everything moves towards "uncrackable" on PC, it'll still be subject to smooth piracy eventually. It's a lot less hassle to crack a BIOS and such than to crack hundreds of individual games, and even the updates are bound to be rippable.

Am I missing anything? I don't get why any of this is better than ps4. The communities for any fighting game is going to be ps4 along with most FPS except maybe battlefield. You don't get new JRPGs which is a big deal if you don't really like western AAA shit that much. the best fighters are on PC now.. I'm loving Melty Blood and picking up Koihime Enbu tomorrow while I wait for UNIEL. Killer Instinct port is top notch even tho it requires Win10, and I get to play wiht Xbros and PS4 players on SFV.
With emulation we have arcade perfect ports of every fighter if you feel like playing the classics, and the numerous doujin fighters are awesome to try out and are always bringing new things. Yatagarasu sadly has a small community but the game itself is stellar.
Another "niche" genre that PC excells at is Shmups. Shmups are all being ported from the 360 in addition to some amazing games. We have the best port of Darius.. vastly better than the PS4 port and it's probably the best shmup you can ever buy.
