Although there's some truth to this, you could almost say the same about any hobby. If you enjoy the time you're spending doing it, you're not wasting it. Being able to raise money for charities is just a bonus from that. the main games are autoscrollers and all 1ccs will be roughly the same length,
StB and DS are different because they're just boss fights, and instead of shooting the enemies, you're taking photos of them. So Speedrunning them consists in getting through the waves of bullets as fast as possible and take photos of them.
Impossible Spell Card is also bosses only but instead consists of you having to defeat bosses with near impossible patterns by using special items with different effects to cheat them. The most interesting of the three imo
