I think it's 50/50 i want to experience the game as both genders.How the armor looksi how the animations change, what noises my character makes, if it makes any changes in the game.
But i think i enjoy female characters more because usually games have only female armor or clothing while men have none. For example Dusks armor from DaS1 Noble Dress from BB or all that clothing for women in Dragon's Dogma. But in the end i enjoy both genders.

I feel like most male players who make females only do so out of desperation and loneliness from the lack of any females in their lives. They can't make any female friends and definitely can't get a girlfriend, so their only option is to make an imaginary one in-game and stare at her.

If I can make myself, then I do so. Then I'd feel more like trying to survive cuz I don't want to see myself die.
If I can't, then I make my daughter. Sometimes it makes me try a little harder to keep her alive. Also makes me feel super bad when a terrible scene plays.
