Why do captain falcon mains take so much goddamn pride in captain falcon. Like they admire him so much it's disturbing. I whack off to captain falcon because he's my main in the melees. Well you know what. Shut up. Shut the fuck up. I main marth and sheik and i don't go around telling people i love kawaii swordsmen and ninjas. I'm not like yeah. Marth and sheik are the best characters ever don't hate. If you say marth or sheik sucks i don't care. But you say one bad thing about captain falcon and you triggered someone so hard they have to show their falcon pride so much your eyes bleed. Captain falcon mains need to chill and understand jokes. And that their main is unviable. Fox mains don't even take that much pride. But captain falcon players think they are the most special snowflakes in the world. Take some bleach falcon mains and shut up.

Attaching video games to sports implies that playing Melee is as physically hard as being a professional athlete and retards like you try to claim it is to look cool and get some recognition - there's tons of it in the smash community and it kinda makes me sick because it's not one bit true. Using a controller isn't physical exertion. Physical exertion is defined as physical work (of your muscles, if you like) to keep you fit.

Any luigi mains here? I want to improve my luigi and was hoping for advice. Firstly other then wavedash into dsmash how should I approach? I've tried wavedash into single jab and then grab but get mixed results with that. Also how do you guys incorporate ftilt? I use it for spacing when my opponent is at a high percent and feel like I could utilize it more.

Some people are misguided and think pro gamers=athletes but the big push I've seen from people is to get players the same luxuries that athletes are allowed like special visas. Unfortunately to get these they have to call themselves athletes. If it makes you feel better I don't know any pro gamer that unironically thinks they're an athlete. The closest thing I've heard people call them are cyber athletes which sounds really cheesy.

I don't know if I can give advice. But I can say that the key to play luigi is his movement. You absolutely need a good a as fuck movement and do some whacky shit. Look at abate's movement.
I like to use nair a lot, comes out very fast.
Always have a down b loaded for recovery.
Maybe try to space more with your back air? I noticed it can come in handy, especially against someone like falcon.
Grabs are your best tools. Can do the most damage out of them.
Don't know what I can say else. Have my problems with Luigi too, especially against marths. Probably the worst matchup.
It's just really hard to compete with Luigi. He's not even A-tier for a reason.

I actually find nair most useful against spacies, as weird as it is I feel fox is one of my more comfortable match ups. I'll try spacing with bair more, I normally only use it for edge guarding.
