i say no way.
first of all dual core i3's will half your fps and that 120gb HD is worthless
also DENUVO
>>338015763
you can build a decent pc for 400 bucks
>>338015763
idk depends how shitty you want it to be I guess. I saw this one for overwatch
http://www.gamersnexus.net/pc-builds/2432-overwatch-gaming-pc-build-for-high-graphics
but it's better to buy higher quality stuff and replace things as you need to. Or buy it all on credit with interest free payments
>recycled from a previous build
>stolen parts from a junk shop
>refurbished and massively discounted
For less than the cost of feeding a child in africa i built a PC capable of playing some games for less than the cost of a brand new launch retail price of a console.
>>338015763
>meme
Stop using that word. Just stop it. Its annoying and its getting more annoying as time goes on.
>>338015763
I got a skylake i3 and it seems to be doing ok. Not great obviously, but good enough it doesn't bottleneck my 960 too hard to sustain 60 in most games.
And isn't the 120gb HD just a jab at the cheapest console builds used as reference prices?
People never factor in things like a desk, monitor, mouse, keyboard, sound system and chair, those things can add up even for cheap ones.
The fact is, someone breaking into PC gaming will drop at the very least 1000 dollars for everything. Those that already have a desk, monitor, chair and yadda yadda can pay 500 dollars to build a new PC but that will only be good if the PC they have before that is a piece of shit.
>>338016132
>being so retarded you're incapable of using word filters
I've planned one and it comes to roughly £450-500. Is it still a meme PC?
>>338016432
Drop the specs if you want to know.
>>338016326
>People never factor in things like a desk, monitor, mouse, keyboard, sound system and chair
Yeah, and people never factor in a TV Stand, a TV, extra controllers, a sound system and a couch for console gaming.
>>338016326
do people really not have a desk and chair in their house?
I actually just took a shitty old desk someone was throwing out by the side of the road
and headphones and 1080p monitors are super cheap
>>338016326
Because everyone already has a desktop and the assorted accessories?
There's no reason to count a couch, sofa table, TV and TV stand for a console either.
And when talking about upgrading a system, there's no reason to replace your PSU, RAM, mobo, case or harddrives every time. Even CPUs have lasted outrageously long now, with overclocked ancient egyptian i5's still trucking along.
>first of all dual core i3's will half your fps
That's simply not true.
And it's closer to a triple core, hyperthreading while not perfect does work.
For ultra cheap shit AMD APUs work.
But that's sub 300 dollar shit.
>>338016326
>not having a desk with chair by default
AMD FX6300
Geforce GTX750Ti
MSI 970
8gb ram
1tb hd
600w psu
I know a guy with a consloe
he lets me sleep with his gf, I say he's alright
>>338016471
>>338016840
Sorry, forgot to quote you
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/HcCxZL
>>338015763
I just finished building my first pc today. It was prettyfun.
>>338016840
I'm no good with AMD, but I think grabbing a mobo with the new intel socket and DDR4 ram support might make it last a little longer even if the price performance would be worse. If you don't have to worry about upgrading RAM next time, that's a plus too as you can just slap an 8 in there and add another one next time.
Anyway it looks good. All the parts are roughly as shitty as all the others so it's a pretty solid budget build. Just don't expect too much out of it. It's not awful, but it a few years...
>>338016840
That's pretty expensive.
Also looks like from logicalincrements.
You can also easily get a 500 watt psu.
750ti and a 6300 don't even consume 200 watts together.
You may be able to save a little money with a similar motherboard and a 450-500 watt PSU and get a 950 instead of a 750Ti.
May also save some money to buy from different shops instead of getting it all from one.
But I can't tell if that applies to you.
You can likely cheap out a little on the case too since the 950 is pretty small.
And the 750ti even smaller
You could also get a new Skylake i3 instead.
But otherwise it's a solid budget built.
Though I think you may be able to get more out of 500 pounds.
>>338017392
2x4 GB is better than 1x8.
Otherwise it's solid
>>338017546
>2x4gb is better anon
No it isn't. You're better off starting with a single 8gb and adding another single 8gb like 1 month later.
Remember these type of builds have the poorest of poorfags in mind. No one sane would buy these parts.
>>338017689
2x4 is better than 1x8.
He never mentioned that he would buy a 2nd 8gb stick later.
If you can't afford a 2nd 8gb ram stick from the start then I just don't know...
>>338016840
>AMD FX6300
Mein nigger
I have upgrade my graphic card so bad, my R7 200 runs dark souls 3 at 40 fps and im actually okay with that but i want to buy a GTX, i know the 1080 its coming out but there is no way in hell im going to be able to afford it, i will settle with a 970 or something.
>>338017546
>you can easily get a 500 watt psu
I have the 6300 and overwatch burn my 500 watt psu, then i just upgraded it to 1000, its not that expensive anyways.
>>338017860
I need to upgrade*
>>338018028
What brand PSU?
If it's some shitty budget no name chink shit then that's your fault.
And is your 6300 overclocked?
What GPU?
And is it overclocked?
>PC gaming
>>338016326
You are an idiot. If you can't get all of these things you've mentioned for free you aren't trying at all.
>>338017408
>>338017546
Thanks guys, I'm pretty damn inexperienced with this shit. Just kinda used pc part picker mixed with some own research into different parts. I'll definitely be shopping around for them, the aim is to minimise the cost as much as possible, and upgrade it over time rather than keep it as is for years to come.
I was gonna go for a 200r corsair case, but thats not set in stone.
As for the PSU, I was thinking it was a bit overkill. I read that several hundred above what you need is good though.
Also managed to score a 1tb hd for about £20, so thats helped a bit.
>>338017860
A few people have told me "No, go for nvidia! AMD a shit!". But from what I've read the FX6300 is pretty solid.
Thanks for the pic btw, just found the crows
>>338018264
>I read that several hundred above what you need is good though.
It is good, but mostly because people often buy really cheap PSUs that can't deliver their maximum rated power without catching fire/breaking down.
https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/3zdxga/discussion_my_psu_tierlist_for_2016/
https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/3q2htw/updated_psu_tier_list/
This may help with picking a PSU
With the 2nd link.
Avoid anything that's below tier 3 and try to avoid tier 3.
> upgrade it over time
Then it may be better to get a i3 Skylake.
An i3 6100 can later get upgraded to an i5 6400/6500.
An FX 6300 is pretty much a dead end.
>>338015763
Are console peasants really this jealous of PC or why we are getting these threads on a daily basis?
There's no point to these, no arguments, just crying and bitching. These threads ooze of one skinnyfat loser being a blubbering mess while typing these up.
>>338018740
You have to upgrade PC yearly while console is good for 8 years ;^)
Just googled how much does my pc consume watts.
I got a fucking chink opening his video with vaping.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Ky17wexBo0
>>338018647
Thanks again, I'll give those links a more thorough check later today. My original choice was a EVGA 600w, that looks to be Tier 2 though.
>>338015763
How is Denuvo a problem, Sony fanboy?
>>338018819
Not any more PS4k and the iterations of 3ds
>>338018819
I haven't upgraded my PC in 3 years though, Sony cuck. BTW remember to upgrade to the PS4K .
>>338018740
>jealous of PC
Yeah, we're missing all those indies and strategy games, anon.
>>338018819
Haven't upgraded my PC in 6 years and I can enjoy all the beauty of maximum graphics in games like IL2 BoS, CoH2, Crysis gaems and other jolly good examples.
But best of all is that I can play older games without buying them all over again unlike in consoletards who buy a new machine every year for 300-800$ and have to keep old ones in a storage, dust off, plug back in, just to play older games :^)
>>338019562
>Haven't upgraded my PC in 6 years
I'm sure you're doing well with max 1.5 Vram
>>338019486
>we
You're not speaking on my behalf you fucking moron.
I've just bought parts for €400 to build a PC with G4400 and a 750ti, you can play every game released until now
>>338019674
Nobody asked you your opinion, go sit in the corner.
Btw, another thread of mustards that play games on 400 euro machines and I have a GTX 780 and I'm getting shitty framerate already all over the place in many games.
>>338016132
nice meme
>>338019780
And I didn't ask you to speak on my behalf you braindamaged asshurt shitwit.
You don't represent anyone's but your own opinion and if you can't win an argument without resorting such a pitiful measure as pretending you have people behind you like some mentally ill narccistic loser then you can fuck right off back to >/s4s/ and cry about how horrible place /v/ is like the salty whiny bitch you are.
>>338019247
>>338019326
I thought the ";^)" was enough to make my sarcasm clear
>>338015763
You again?
>>338020010
>I didn't ask for this
And I still don't care, I will say whatever I want, and the only thing saving you from a kick in the face is the internet.
How much money could I make hocking this for a new build?
It's got a shitload of USB ports, but many of them are fried for some reason (like, everything built into the front panel of this PC is shot)
>>338015898
You can buy a refurbished console that's been revised, had defective hw changed and was thoroughly tested for less than 200 bucks. And you get a warranty proper of a new console to go along with it.
>>338020396
i'll give you $3.50 for it
>>338020490
cheap, paleolithic bastard
Speaking of, i currently have an i3 Ivy Bridge, is it worth going for an i5 Ivy, or doing a full rip and tear for a skylake
>>338016326
>paying a lot for mouse and keyboard
lmao
>>338020767
Don't forget OS, but some of the things can be transferred from older builds. If you build from fresh, and don't decide to use you're laptop HDD's then it's going to be expensive like you said.

>>338021392
shut the fuck up blood
500gb is at $50
if u wanna get a gayman pc at $350 you GOTTA get a 120gb hd
next time meme me harder
(doom alone is 44gb 7 so are gta5 & evil within)
>>338021634
>500gb is at $50
Are you even trying, my guy?
>>338015763
Fuck a cheap PC. If you are going to build one, build one you can upgrade for a few years. Spend $500 to $800 if you are on a budget and relax for 4 or 5 years. Don't get aggitated like a sonygger about their PS4.5 because you have to buy a new system after 2 or 3 years. Upgrade your graphics card and RAM and you are good to go for another half a decade.
If you don't have the budget to get a gaming PC, just stick to consoles. You aren't going to like it. You will probably whine and complain about having to cough up $200 every couple of years. Don't get a laptop either. It will be trash in 4 years max.
>also DENUVO
Look, piracy is already dead. It wasn't DENUVO that killed it. It died because there weren't any games worth pirating.
>DENUVO?! BUT MUH NO GOOD GAMES MEME!
Exactly. Games are becoming copies of copies of copies these days. They are all bad.
