God knows Nintendo could use some new IP's. As much as I love the main series Mario games they really overdo it, just give me normal Mario and Mario Kart and focus on making some new shit.

It's my game of this generation so far. Still play it now during Splatfest. Amazing how they hit it out of the park on their first go and I can't wait for Spla2n.

I bought a Wii U (my first console ever) just to play Splatoon. Later, I convinced a friend of mine to do the same, and we've been playing twin squads regularly. It's amazing. I'll keep playing for as long as the servers stay up. The only other Wii U games I have are from that recent Humble Bundle.

GOD DAMN this. I don't even dislike where they've been going with Fire Emblem, and I thought STEAM was great despite its shit art style. Why the fuck can't they get Paper Mario right?
And fucking Alpha Dream. I don't know if they're covering for IS or what when they say it was their decision to remove non-core characters from Paper Jam, but if it was, what were they thinking? It ruined the story for what should have been an amazing crossover.
