Paragon is Epic and for what it is worth it is the best looking game of the Smite-type that I have seen. I mean that purely in the sense of graphical fidelity, the character models, the effects, what they have put in the game so far as environments, all look super sharp. I don't think it competes with Battleborn/Overwatch at all really.

I got Dark Souls 3 for $32 months before it launched from a key site, and a friend picked up the new Doom for $30 like a week ago, so that doesn't really say much about the game itself

I used Cdkeys, which is up to $50 now for the DaS3 keys, but was $32 back in the beginning of January when I bought it
All I'm getting at is that prices for key sites won't necessarily keep going down, they fluctuate a lot and $30 might be the low end for something like Battleborn until it gets a decent sale

Dude, people like Overwatch's "lore" because of the characters associated with it. Like it or not, Blizzard is insanely good at designing characters. They have, yet again, developed an art style capable of standing the test of time, while making it appealing to look at. Meanwhile, Battleborn looks like they took Borderlands, took away the cel-shading (which was the only redeeming quality about Borderlands' art style) and combined it with some of the lamest looking characters and maps I've ever seen. Seriously the guns in that game look like they were invented by the guy that created Legos. Overwatch is an example of cartoony, yet catchy art, while Battleborn is cartoony, but overdone and goofy. It's honestly sad how badly BB is going to get fucked. Gearbox is going under for sure. It's not even a conversation of which game will be better. Overwatch is going to murder any chance that game had the second it releases. Mark my words.
