Get the fuck in here and watch it, this shits fucking hilarious
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQkGQpxvXqQ
>That wasn't Oldbag
>It was a time traveling 2D Sprite of Oldbag
>2D JFA Oldbag time traveled to the future
You fucking what
That's not Hugh is it?
IS IT?
Larry actually looks successful
>>337993427
He looks like one of those stereotypical artists who plays the bongos and performs slam poetry
I don't get it
Is this one of the preorder cases
Or are those separate while this is a separate larger one ?
>>337993427
>>337988515
I love his new outfit
It fits his personality
>>337988515
Wait... Japan gets a fully voiced game? Or is this some kind of preview lie.
>>337990216
WHAT THE
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
>>337990216
It would have been even funnier if it was the actual sprite
>>337995707
It's the actual sprite from the iOS/3DS rereleases
What exactly is this time travel bullshit?
>Lady finds herself in a situation where she's about to be killed
>Touch her necklace
>She suddenly restarted the day
I call bullshit
Looking forward to Wright dissecting what really happened
Either the bride was a fucking Moron or the killer was a master ruseman
>>337993427
Where can I buy that sick fucking jacket?
>>337997073
Silly Anon, she's obviously aStand User.
>>337988515
Can some summarize what's going on?
>>337997470
It's a special stage show to promote the DLC with Silly shit
They got invited to a wedding and wondering who did it and get interrupted by Oldbag saying the wedding is for her and edgeworth
The case itself revolves around a women who foresaw her own murder
>dlc for a game that isn't out yet
>>337999362
It's free. So it's not really DLC, it's like a content patch.
>>337988515
this can't be real
they jumped the gun
>Phoenix
>Apollo
>Athena
>Maya
>Edgeworth
>Blackquill
>Trucy
>Ema
>Larry
>Probably Pearly
This game has a fucking all-star cast so far.
Where the hell is Gumshoe?
>>338000008
He's the one getting married.
>>338000163
Pls be true
>>337995707
That is the actual sprite
>>337988515
>image,gif
>tumblr filters
>>337999476
betting it will only be free right away..Like how the DLC for Dual Destinies was
>>337988515
Holy shit, looks like Larry's artist job actually worked for him. I'm glad.
Gumshoe when?
>>338000330it isn't, the ones marrying are new characters. Looks like the bride will be the victim. Larry is captured in the wedding but no one knows if he will be the defendant or just making trouble in the wedding.
>>337988515
>Larry does his own Objection Pose
THE TRINITY IS COMPLETE
>>337999362
The DLC is meant for the developers to break the rules and just make an apeshit case
This mentality caused Turnabout Reclaimed to be better than the entirety of DD
>>338002652
My money's on Larry's meddling being how you figure out the truth
I mean really?
Some woman somehow saw her own murder?
Same bullshit as getting killed by a Demon bird, or OH SHIT SOMEBODIES FLYING
Or better yet, AAI2 and OH SHIT HE GOT STOMPED BY A GIANT FUCKING MONSTER
>>337995418
nah this is just for the commercial/skit/whatever
Do we have a release date on this yet?
Playing through the trilogy has me hyped.
>>337995418
It's a special court stage show
They do this every time
>>338004150
September for North America
No word on if we will get the DLCs yet
>>337988515
Returning characters are most likely never going to bring up Phoenix's 7 years a bum.
>>338004150
Next month for japan
September for US and Europe
>>338004259
Edgeworth did in DD
but it's specifically stated that while Wright was a bum, Edgeworth would contact him for advice in his cases
>>338004234
>>338004278
Kick ass. Can't wait for it. I hear the difficulty is going to be back to the first games.
>>338004450
Yeah
but people have to remember that DD's purpose was to bring new players
>>338004549
I can see it already
>People complaining that 6 is "too hard"
DD's never ending hand holding pissed me off a whole lot.
>>338004450
I heard that it was going to be adjustable.
You can still have your hand held through the game if you want it to
>>338004549
>>338004842
Glad I didn't buy it then.
>>338005020
Your kind of missing out on playing an AA game regardless of the difficulty
There are still parts where you have to figure shit out
atleast watch the game
>>338005020
It wasn't necessarily bad though. I still enjoyed it and I think it's still a solid game.
>>338005020
Keep it that way
DD has the weakest writing of the series and focuses on two main characters that will be pushed aside anyway in the main game.
Good riddance too, their plotline was irrelevant to anything else in the series
>>338005007
I havent heard shit about that
The only thing stated was that difficulty was going to be adjusted
Regardless, as long as we can set it so we need to figure it out ourselves, it'll be fine
>>338005227
>Weakest
That's your opinion
I thought the set up for Cosmic/ForTommorow was fantastic, especially with the people involved like Aura, Cosmos and Blackquil
Also technically Apollo is still important, even heavier in Spirit of Justice
>>338005020
Difficulty doesnt really effect how great in quality it is.
The game had a bigger focus on crimescenes and decoding what the ever loving fuck happened, it was really eloborate and i personally loved figuring them out, moreso than past games
Spirit of Justice looks to improve on that even more
>>338005446
I meant Athena and Blackquill. Their story only really related to each other
and yeah its my opinion that would be why i said it
>>338005621
>elaborate
anon DD held your hand the whole way through to the point where it might as well have given you the answer on a silver platter. It whittled the gameplay down to pure visual novel instead of a vn/puzzle game
If you think DD was elaborate then buddy....you may need to sit this one out
>>338005227
>DD has the weakest writing of the series
That would be AA4, which is ruined by the absolute terrible filler cases in the middle.
>>338006001
I would put AA4 as a close second personally
but the quality of AA games has definitely taken a turn for the worse since the original trilogy ended
>>338005020
DD was mediocre but I still bought and played it because I'm a slut for Ace Attorney.
Spirit of Justice looks like it might be better, not very confident, but I'll buy it anyway
>>338005891
Explain how it wasnt, the crime scenes couldnt be figured out initally
Monstrous Turnabout was Layton levels of solving what the fuck happened
and the fact that faking the teacher's death following the script when it actually never left the scene was interesting, even moreso that it was posing as Wright's statue and nobody noticed
and dont get me started on Blackqui;s Mood Matrix
>>338005712
You stated it as if it was fact
situationally specific plotlines are still interesting, it's what made AAI2 so great because it focused on the shitposting trio of Not-Presidente, Miwa and Blaise
>>338005227
DD should have pushed for Lawyer Athena more
She actually made the case 3 trials pretty entertaining
>>338007056
I'm sorry.
Objectively, in my own personal opinion, and not to be confused as fact, I, me, this anon right here, thinks the writing in DD was shit
Better?
>>338007186
I agree, but im pretty sure people are going to come in and start shitposting saying Academy was bad blah blah POWER OF FRIENDSHIP nonsense
Here's hoping Spirit of Justice gives her atleast a half case to do
>>338007239
Im sorry i had to make you say that
>>338006872
Of course it couldn't be found out initially. But in trial it only takes moments for someone to say, Hey maybe THIS happened and shove you towards the answer instead of gently lead you to find it out on your own
And its funny how you should mention Monstrous Turnabout because I flat out hated that case and got fed up with it and its characters by the first investigation.
The mood matrix, was my second least favorite thing
But hey, enjoy setting aa6 to an easier setting if there is one. You do you
Was AA5 dlc voiced? I haven't played it yet and I'm hoping to play the undub if possible.
>>338008656
It's just a stage show
The actual case won't have voices outside the yells
>>338008958
I meant dual destinies not this one.
>>338007619
I'm not going to ignore that DD was handholdy
Yes it was and the game wa a lot easier to figure out
What I'm trying to say is that crime scenes in DD were absolutely ludicrous in the final reveals of how they were made that they were entertaining to me
Especially Monstrous
Of course I'm looking forward to higher difficulty in AA6
>Mood Matrix was my second least favorite thing
I draw the line there, it's a great mechanic for catching liars, maybe increased difficulty and actual penalties will change your mind
>>338009063
Same shit
There is no voices outside yells for Wright and Blackquil, and the animations for the whale song
>>337992048
The defendant/husband's name has a similar Japanese kanji to Hugh
So that actually is Hugh getting married, or a relative of Hugh
>>338009242
>I draw the line there, it's a great mechanic for catching liars, maybe increased difficulty and actual penalties will change your mind
bro I totally disagree with you and im still bitter as fuck about how shit I felt this game and Athena and her mechanic was, but i damn hope I'll change my mind
>>338009346
Oh thanks. I've been having aversions to playing the game since it's voiced in English. Just can't stand dubs.
>>338007619
To be fair
A lot of DD's progressional answers were horseshit stalling that weren't true
>Monstrous got an extra day for the Vent
>Lol no, nobody couldn't have gone through the vent with this much dust
>Prosecutions fatal evidence is the clock on picture being 5 minutes before death
>Lol no the Time was an hour back
