I liked Splatoon's aesthetics and progression a lot but the limited maps per day and the fact that it's one of the like 3 games that is preventing the Wii U from shriveling up means that Overwatch is going to be my go-to.

I know how this feels. Splatfest the other day, I shot a guy in the back whilst using hero shot replica, just to test out gear I levelled up special ups. I ended up getting killed when he was using a splattershot and I literally had just left the spawn so I had no damage and he had no strength or defense ups and I shot him at point blank. I felt it lacked content. You basically go through a couple game modes in the same few maps. Single player could be 100% completed in a couple hours and had one weapon only.
If it just had more stages and weapon choices, it would have been perfect.
A small thing that bothered me though was that 1 slot you couldn't change on clothes.
People would dress ugly instead of how they wanted just for a bit of extra stats.

Lag from the fact they have no regional servers, probably due to the smaller userbase on Wii U, no voice chat, so you can't give your team advice and since there aren't any regional servers, you would just have CHING CHONG TING TONG LING LONG shouted at you, since you'll probably be the only English speaker on your team of magic gooks. You better believe that you can only play two stages every four hours on one of two modes. I still play the game everyday but being stuck on Ancho-V Games in Ranked every time I play is annoying me. Honestly the map rotation is part of what killed my enjoyment of splatoon early on. Especially with multiple game modes. All maps available but random or some kinda vote system would have been 10X better
