make FPS actions (bow shooting, gun shooting) not hit walls by auto tweaking player model when you would otherwise hit a wall when clearly aiming at something through doorway, over wall, through arrow slits, etc.

You mean Dragon Quest's gameplay
Megaman Battle Network grid based combat + Elite Beat Agents style attacks from the bosses.
Each boss would have a 'song' that they are associated with and the attacks would be based on the rhythm/melody of the song. You can either deplete bosses HP to 0 or in challenge mode they are invincible and you have to just survive until the song ends.

Like, being slow doesn't matter if bullets can't harm you.
Not sure how much it'd take to stop a rocket though.
It'd be totally awesome though if there were infantry wearing obscene amounts of armour using a shotgun and a shield to stop rockets.
