While the same can't be said for the Wii U it still has games that I like enough to keep it. But I've got no interest in the NX and unless their next handheld is impressive then I won't be getting it. They know Tokyo Mirage Sessions is for the anime fandom, the games apparently not even getting a dub and it's been marketed as more of an Atlus product than a Nintendo one. I can understand the disputes with something like the core Fire Emblem series. There's an obvious dissonance between who the series is being marketed to in Japan and America, not just based on age but on what type of game it is. NoJ and NoA need to sit down and have a talk about that, because the feelings on the dating sim shit are pretty mixed.

Here is the simple fact: The ESRB does not care what you have in your game so long as it does not contain outright nudity, outright sex or extreme levels of violence. And when I say extreme I mean shit like torture levels of violence, this is America after all we're perfectly ok with regular violence. Therefore, there is absolutely NOTHING that is released on a console or handheld in Japan that would receive an AO in the US. The Japanese rating board is in fact stricter than the American board in most ways.
These changes have nothing to do with what the ESRB thinks and has everything to do with how NoA wants to appear to the super casual fucktards who will never buy this game in the first place. It's all about maintaining public image, to the detriment of anyone who isn't a casual.
This is why you should stop purchasing all Nintendo products period, because Nintendo has long since stopped caring about you, the actual gamer.
