LMAO WHAT A PIECE OF SHIT

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>>
>>337952275
I didn't even know they were making a new one.
>>
>>337952275
It had to have at least some kind of expectations for it to be a blunder.

I'm desperately looking for a site that I can pawn this piece of shit on to get some of that money back.

Is the campaign longer than two hours this time?
>>

Please tell me you have never even heard of the first one, no one who played the first should want to be anywhere near this shit
>>

33 dollars seems a bit much. I bet this piece of shit will be even cheaper within a few weeks.
>>

How old are you? Get off of /v/ right now.
>>
>>337953518
There has been Zero marketing on this game.
>>
>>337953808
I actually liked the gameplay and atmosphere of the first game. I was hoping Revolution would just be the first one but open world and not just 2 hours long.

I was wrong.
>>
>>337953808
People that have played the first would probably be reassured by the fact that it's completely different. Still shit after all, but a different kind of shit.
>>
>>337953873
It's hilarious

They paid for denuvo but didn't pay for marketing
Guess which one of those actually sells games lol
>>
>>337953873
I see ads for it all the time on the mobile twitch app
>>
>>337953873
There was a free beta on xbone hahahaha but that was buggy as fuck, and performed like shit, which probably turned off quite a few people.
>>
I spent a few hours today watching all the damage control shills trying to defend it in the Steam forums. Too fucking funny.
>>
>>337954163
I don't know what beta got shit on more, that or DOOM.

But at least it seems DOOM turned out okay, they just marketed it horribly wrong.
>>
>>337953191
twitch users are such fucking faggots
>>

the first one was made by a competent studio and was actually a 7/10

this one shits all over the story, setting and gameplay

Both betas were legitimately shit. Doom's single player turned out to be ok, but the shitty multiplayer is just as bad as the beta indicated.

Wait, does this mean TS2 is on PC with mouse support in a way? If they have the legal rights to do this could they port the games to steam or something?
>>
>>337954535
This is depressing.

>Remember when we were Free Radical, guys?
>Remember when we made a sequel to Homefront instead of Timesplitters 4
Free Radical got fucked over by every publisher they ever worked with. While FR doesn't exist in name, and most of the staff are long gone, it's sad to see they're STILL getting fucked over.

When this game bombs and I'd be surprised if it doesn't will what's left of FR finally be mercy killed?

Paid Crytek for the rights to what used to be their own IP.

Speaking of that
>Crytek sells off Crytek UK and the Homefront IP to in a last ditch effort to dodge bankruptcy
>Keeps the Timesplitters IP even though they've stated MULTIPLE TIMES that they have no intent or interest to do anything with it
They're holding it hostage.

Can't be blunder of the year. A blunder implies that there were at least some expectations. In a month, everyone will have forgotten that this game even existed.

Kaos was supposed to develope but was shutdown by THQ for no reason, Crytek UK picked it up in 2013 and Deepsilver was supposed co-publish it with Crytek

For some reason Crytek UK made it from a linear game to an open world and then eventually Crytek ditched the studio along with the game itself to koch media because they were broke which owns Deepsilver and we all know what happens when Deepsilver gets its hands on nice things

tl;dr a store sold another store something, who then threw it to the thrash from where a hobo found it and finished it off

just put in 2 hours and i want it back

the nonsprint walk speed is similar to call of duty modern warfare when you are wandering around after the nuke goes off and you get knocked out and saved TWICE over 2 different longer then needed cutscenes before the game lets you even begin to play

/v/ was right im just glad i did not pay for it

Good god, how tragic. What in the universe were these people even expecting with doing absolutely little if any advertising, yet got Denuvo for this thing?
Anyone wanna take bets on how quickly this'll be forgotten? Mine is on just one week, two if God shows pity on these people.
>>
>>337959550

>>337959828
It's a terribly buggy game that's generic as fuck to boot. I don't think marketing would have saved it.

>>337959923
Fair points, but it could earn them a penny or two, I guess.
>>
Why do people release shit games?

They work on these games for years and play them, so they 100% know its broken bugged and shit and boring so why bother not fixing anything and releasing a shit game?

Why?
>>
>>337959828

>>337959923

>>
>>337960060
Sunk costs

After a certain point it's better to release shite and make some money (with a net loss) than just scrapping the project
>>
>>337959828
Makerting costs a lot of money, they probably realized how bad the game was and decided not to waste more money with it.

Deep Silver probably wanted to be done with the game ASAP after wasting their money on it.
