God, I love Rebirth's soundtrack.
I've been getting into the original, and the music is okay. Rebirth's tracks gave it a more mature feel, if that makes sense. I especially love Ventricide, Diptera Sonata, Crusade, and Sketches of Pain.

Ridiculon really knows how to set the mood with music. I'm not feeling Danny Baranowsky's tracks in the original, but his work with Super Meat Boy was amazing.
The music just makes you feel like you should be in a horror game sometimes, which feels weird when you suddenly have to fight a giant pile of shit with corn in it named Dingle. I love it.
Oh yeah, I forgot about Genesis 13:37. The arcade song, that one's good too.

To be fair, I never played the original Binding of Isaac much, whereas I've played Rebirth and Afterbirth for years now. I've only just recently gotten into the original.
I've only enjoyed Danny's work in Super Meat Boy. Maybe my opinion will change when I get more accustomed with the original.

Hey, I love Danny's music, honestly its amazing. I listen to SMB soundtrack at work sometimes, and I really like his music in BoI for the levels, more so than rebirth. But the Boss battles are clearly in favor of Ridiculon, they upbeat, catchyness and speed of them just make them really memorable and enjoyable to listen to. But as I said, Danny's music was more atmospheric and thus more suited for the levels music.

I always thought it's difficulty was one of it's strongest points.
With games like Super Mario Bros and stuff nowadays, there's easy mode levels and overpowered items you get when you suck at the game, etc., so it's refreshing to have a game where you just suck it up and beat the level or don't.
