After getting continuously raped by the Dancer, I was actually surprised by how easy I found most of the late game bosses. I was expecting Nameless King to really beat my shit in after reading how he's supposed to be the hardest boss in the game, but it only took me three tries to beat him.

Funny enough, I died more than 20 times versus Gwyn and people usually say he's super easy.
Nameless King wasn't that bad as /v/ described. I killed him in a few tries but I died probably 20-30 times to Champion Gundyr because I didn't know that I could parry him.

the problem with dancer is that she pretty much conditions you to fuck up.
the main problem i'm having with dancer is her stop and start combo switcheroo bullshit. She has like 3 variations of the same combo, so half the time you're left wondering if you should go in for the attack, or if you should get ready to roll. this isn't helped by the fact that her movement is constantly floaty and dramatic, so you end up spending most of the fight trying to judge whether she's reeling back for a big attack, or an aoe, or a large delayed swinging attack, or if she's just doing another retarded idle animation.
Gets even worse in phase two where she gets even more flail-y and retarded and just starts throwing her limbs in all directions and whipping out 5 hit combos. She's not usually a problem for me, but because i'm trying to kill her early, i have to dodge more of this shit, with less health to spare.

Pretty tough to down in a sorcery only build.
I've been camping out as a sunbro in front of him with an NPC like name for a while now. I think I might have fooled some people thinking I was one either way. But the thing people seem to have trouble with are his relentless combo attacks.
As a pure caster I try to stay out of his way, and once I do catch aggro I just backpeddal like crazy. However this doesn't work as well as a melee build, in which case you'd need to actually just roll around him and stay on his ass. At least that's what I did with my greataxe build.
Still not sure what the fuck I'm gonna do with all these souls though, because I'm stopping at level 50 with this mage.

I think it's because Dancer moves so slow, but her hits are so fast right at the end. That's what I think anyway, so it was harder for me to roll.
I beat lorian/lothric in one try the first time and died like 6 times on new-game plus.
No idea why. Never summoned either, just struggled really hard second time round.
Boost guardian is a real piece of shit though.

all the characters I've made she tends to 1-2 shot. The biggest issue for me is that her attacks feel slower than most other enemies so I often fuck up my dodges when fighting her. That pretty much leads to instant death because very few of her attacks are just a single hit.
I got gud, REALLY gud by the time I fought him.
Being beefed enough to not be one-shotted helped too. Now the fucking Chalice Dungeon bosses can suck my anus.
