All Kirby games are piss easy, what did they expect? Nobody plays Kirby games for the challenge. Rating it based on that criterion is retarded and misses the point entirely.
I thought it played things way too safe, it doesn't have multiplayer like Return to Dreamland and doesn't have as much verticality in the level design as Planet Robobot. A lot of the levels were way too flat.
Also the Hypernova gimmick is a bit boring compared to Super Abilities or the Mech.

I do think a lot of the later Kirby games are a little too easy. Return to Dreamland felt pretty decent on the whole (though it could have been tougher).
I would actually like it if they did what they did all the way back in the first Kirby game and offer harder "extra game" modes to offer a little bit of a challenge (ie, more aggressive enemies, trickier boss patterns, etc.)

I will agree that Triple deluxe's story mode or "campaign" was nothing special. But to say it's too easy when the same site also gave Epic Yarn 9/10 (a game in which you can not achieve a concrete "fail state") is laughable.
I will assume they'll give Planet Robobot a 7.5 or 8 since this is more to it since the game's final stretch and story is a bit more novel than recent games.

The final boss was cool but everything else was boring. Previous kirbys had an extra mode that made shit more fun after you beated it once, this one has the dedede tour and that's it.
The bosses are also fucking nanoying and not really dangerous. They spend more time hanging around in the other side of the world doing fuck nothing which wouldn't be bad if you could fucking hit them, but they just float there while you wait sitting on your ass for them to come back. I fucking hated that toad for that, took him a year to come back.
And it's easy. But it's for kids! well, I played superstar as a kid, and nightmare to dreamland, and while they were easy too I died here and here, and I had to replay the stages to find the secrets. In triple deluxe it's impossible to die and everything is in your face.

Eh. I think the score is a bit too low, but Triple Deluxe is a 7 at best. It's definitely one of the more mediocre Kirby games, and it's the worst of the post RTDL trilogy. No, it wasn't. Great Cave Offensive, in particular, WOULD kill you if you went for 100%. Nova/Heart of Nova was very wonky with collision and hitboxes. Lastly, The Arena was the typical Kirby Boss Rush, but actually having healing items enticed players to give it a go. Still, learning attack patterns does take some tries, especially for very young players.

Most of the newer kirby games have this option. Return to Dream Land had EX Mode with half health and tougher bosses. triple deluxe had Dedede tour which had tougher bosses and an extra boss. RobobotHas Metaknightmare Returns with tougher bosses and 3 extra bosses.All games starting with Super Star Ultra has a true arena mode which has another extra boss at the end of the ordeal.
