If you for some retarded reason go to the intended graves without ever talking to the Handmaiden in normal Firelink and talk to the one there, the "standard" one will lately recognize you. So yes, Untended Graves is 100% the past. "Where" in the past is probably during Ludleth's age.

From a gameplay point of view? Probably Sen's, No man's Warf (scholar version with the new shortcut is better), High Wall. Also, the Catacombs in DaS1 because form a purely level design standpoint it's an incredible dungeon full of shortcuts and I love that shit.
From an artistic one though? Amana, Anor Londo, Dragon Aerie, That see of Brume Tower you get when starting DLC 2 in dark souls 2.

It's almost like they're two different series with entirely different motifs and art direction. Dark Souls' setting is all about the world burning out and falling into decay, with once-noble champions and powerful beings going mad and losing their power. Bloodborne is all about blood and disease and people gouging out their own eyes to see the terrors beyond. It makes sense to me, anyway.

I thought the Untended Graves was a really neat area, particularly because I didn't find it on my first playthrough and it completely changed a lot of what I thought I knew about the setting. DA CHAMP is one of the most fun bosses in the game, and the atmosphere is just fantastic.
But I still wouldn't rank it that highly as an area in its own right, since it's a pretty easy trick, and they already did the same thing in Bloodborne (though it is admittedly done better here).

I'd argue its done better in BB because it was the first instance of them playing with our perception of something known within the game. DS3's graves just comes off as a cheap reminder of the hunters workshop. I fucking love the Champ though, I wasn't nearly as impressed with DS3's attempt at subverting the player as I was with BB. Especially when you can get to the workshop early on in BB so at that point you have no clue whats going on and the context you get later makes the reveal even more crazy. DS3's feels like a retread in every way.

I don't know if it is possible to save her if you don't do the Yoel/Yuria questline. I did the same thing he did and let Yoel die and never met Yuria and there was no hidden chameleon guy in the room with Anri. In another playthrough I did the quest and Yuria says someone is watching Anri and I was able to find the pilgrim.

Yeah, the NPC quests are one area that people really need to give blind players some slack for, since they're really convoluted this time around. Hell, my first playthrough went like this:

With Dark Souls 2 people were starting to realise there were massive problems with it before the mathewmatosis video and the video was the tipping point.
I'm not sure what's happened to the souls community since then but almost no one except a few people on here and a few streamers seem to be criticising dark souls 3, even though it's arguably worse than Dark Souls 2 and at the very least has a lot of the same problems people slated DaS2 and even DaS for.

Granted I'll throw opinions out here and if you don't agree thats fine, but here goes.
Over-reliance on previous games: 80% of the gear is from previous games in the series so the game itself lacks a real idenitity when it comes to armor/weapons/spells.
Too much pandering: Entire areas(anal rodeo), and concepts are reused to an extreme degree. Everything in DS3 has an analog to something from a previous game. Seigward, patches(I mean sure), Abysswatchers(artorias/sif), Aldrich is a pander-boss instead of a cool goop man.
Bosses are 80% gimmicks and the other 20% are great. Only real stand-outs are Sully, Nameless(kind of), Lothric bros, SoC and Dragonslayer armor. Rest rely on one gimmick too hard to be considered interesting.
Weapon balance is the worst its ever been, Straightsword class weapons are fucking disgustingly powerful and they somewhat negate other classes. You can certainly use other classes but you are just asking for a harder time.
Minimal viability of playstyles, Magic is fucking garbage until 60int plus 4 ring , an offhand and a crown. Pyro is usable but only one spell is good, faith is a fucking joke. Its physical or the highway.
Upgrade material woes, so you will have trouble trying out multiple weapons until breakpoints in the game, boss weapons are particullary egregious in this matter, where its impossible to upgrade a boss weapon fully until the end game.
Lore-wise its just mediocre, it has some cool twists here and there and a few cool NPC's but most of them are just boring. Sully, Aldrich and Yhorm are cool, rest are boring.
PvP is a complete mess this time around, mostly due to weapon balance.
I await dlc for a final look, but I have to say this is the first souls game ever that I've done only 2 playthroughs and felt bored.
No area or Boss made me go WOOOOOOOW in Das3.

As for bosses?
Yhorm, Crystal sage, Wolnir, Ancient dragon, Deacons, Curse rotted greatwood, Aldrich to a degree. So basically a ton of them.
