Apparently poise does what agility does in DS3. Seriously to fix the system they should just disable rolling on heavy armors and give them DS1 style poise.

Poise is a stat that does literally nothing in DaS3. It doesn't have a new way of working, it just doesn't work at all. Certain weapon arts claim to "boost poise", but all they do is give you hyper armor which isn't actually dependent on your poise stat.

UGS is baby mode in hyperarmor-trading and parry-oneshot meta. And its hilarious because the meta couldnt stay that way, because if two big weapon-parry spammers meet, its literal shitshow of nobody hitting anybody for five minutes. Ever since demons souls they have been rebalancing shit in the most retarded way.
They most likely just cut out poise effects in 3 because they couldnt get them right before release and they just rushed it.
I like how some people don't want poise because they are PvP fags and claim it would ruin the already absolute dogshit PvP...
Dualwield is the best, hit confirm l1 l1 l2 r2 combo and chase them down when they try to chug.

How about you dig a little deeper or try using your brain. The no stagger on roll recovery is based on equipment load NOT armor. You can achieve the same results NAKED but with heavy weapons equipped.
