Forcing everyone to pick up a weapon outside their build to make a part bearable isn't any better. This isn't Legend of Zelda. And using a bow turned this from an exercise in futility to an exercise in tedium. It wasn't fun or exciting in any way spending half an hour picking off snipers who could shoot you from outside their fucking render range. Invisible snipers with homing magic while you're stuck in water that halves your movement speed. Might as well throw an escort quest in there and call it a day.

You tried to fight with the bow? I just used it to pull those melee fucks, the ranged attackers are fucking nothing when there's no melee enemies around.

Favorite area of the game.
It also forced me out of my comfort zone and it's not anywhere near as hard as people made it out to be, even pre-nerf.

I liked a lot of the areas
sure some of them are boxy and crappy and you could probably replicate the entire game in the quake engine, but it's comforting in a weird way
