It gives us great initiations (M5 all flashing onto their opponents), it gives us great jukes, it raises the skillcap on a lot of heroes, even just with Flashtaunts and if it's wasted or used as an escape it puts the team on a significant discount.
Flash is one of your strongest aggressive tools, if you use it defensively you better outscale your opponents lategame or you'll be relying on picks.
