This is the best Doom game. Better than the other 3.
Here's why:

Oh please, it's literally the same as the previous games with the sole difference being that they dropped the default screen brightness to 0.
Also, the game is slow as shit, easy as piss since everything has a huge hitbox and rarely shows up more than 2-3 at a time until the end, and has the worst weapon design in the series.

It most certainly is not the best Doom game and I have bought it multiple times and pre-ordered it in 2003 and got the t-shirt and mancubus figure.
I like Doom 3 and what it tried to do but it becomes really repetitive as enemy spawn locations are predictable and the levels are often too dark. I did like the feeling of isolation in a facility full of monsters though, and felt that interacting with displays and listening to audio logs was an interesting way to reward thoroughness.

Nah it didn't it was just back pedal and kill weak enemies with a machine gun/shotgun then wait until enemies with more life to use bigger guns. Enemies were braindead and bosses were easy because of the lack of movement options they had to make everything slow and easy

Actually, If you got into settings you'll see the lighting setting isn't set at 0 or the game would have no lighting.
Try again.
My only complaint about Doom 3 was that there wasn't enough levels in Hell. The majority of the game took place in the UAC facility, and that's just bullshit.
