It's basically the western equivalent of everything I hate about JRPGs taken to an extreme. In my eyes, YIIK is already one of the greatest video game parodies just from the trailers alone. The devs seem at least seni-aware of what they're doing, I fond ot hard to believe little things like having their gook vocalist sing "blah blah blah" can't be on accident.
Seeing JRPGfans criticize the game for flaws common the I'm the genre (usually on a lesser level though) is really amusing.
