Cisquisition aside, is the gameplay of the game actually good? From what I saw on youtube it seems alright, at least in mid-game.

I like the game overall but the combat can be pretty weak.
Your party members only get 8 slots and can't use skills that aren't slotted, as if they are playable characters.
You can't edit their AI like you could in previous games.
Enemies in melee often have AE attacks so your party members can't handle being in melee range without being the tank. Your Assassin and Reaver are terrible and get themselves killed on NM.

You know how TW3 has great small to large side quests that actually have you talking to people and investing a little in the world?
DAI is the exact opposite. While TW3 has lots of pure filler quests that's on top of everything else. DAI is filler.

It was the first Bioware game I didn't finish. The gameplay is complete fucking garbo, and the builds in the game (at least for a mage) have absolutely no depth in them.
