This is just going off of my own personal experience so take it with a grain of salt. Every time I'd hear anyone say anything about fallout 4 it was usually negative. Nearly everyone I play with online would ditch the game after a week or two some of them not even bothering to finish it. Most fallout fans didn't like it.
