Are you better at games when you drink?
Sports games only, also the only kind of game that hold my attention while drinking.

Like a lot of things in life, a small amount generally makes me better. It removes the hesitation that comes with making split-second decisions. Too much though and your reactions and decision-making capabilities suffer.Also, this reminds me of a Peep Show sketch where there's a secret society of almost tipsy people that rule the world using the power of not quite being drunk.

me and my flatmates often refer to the bell curve, where you get better for a while then those skills drop off rapidly... so it's not really useful to be drunk.
Getting stoned on the other hand, that's always useful in gaming.

There is a that beautiful sweet spot between buzzing and drunk. Where your inhibition is gone , but you can still play well thus maximizing your risk and reward gameplay style.

Certain games. Max Payne for instance. I think it's because when I'm sober I always try to play carefully and games like Max Payne are not supposed to be played carefully. Now Souls games need sobriety.

speed on the other hand makes me godly at video games.

True story. When I have to negotiate something at work, ill grab a few drinks at work.
